Child sponsorship with Rozmary Rapport Foundation begins by connecting two people: a caring sponsor and a child struggling in poverty. From early childhood to young adulthood, our child development program equips young people with crucial life skills and important job skills so they can break the cycle of generational poverty.

How to become a sponsor?

If you are interested in sponsoring a child, please send us and email expressing interest at sponsorship. Our sponsorship team will get act to you with more information on how to join as a sponsor. Once enrolled, you will be given information of children that need sponsorship program.

How your gift is invested

  • Drop in center (a safe place): children can find safety from drugs and violence, and focus on learning and playing.
  • Staff/volunteer (a caring team): staff, including doctors and tutors help the children.
  • Life skills: children learn job skills and life skills to break the cycle of poverty.
  • Programs (a path out of poverty): focus on education, health, empowerment and employment to break the cycle of poverty.

A personal connection

You can watch your sponsored child grow through letters, photos and yearly updated, a well as  have a personal connection to see how your gift affects the life of another person, and can even plans a visit to meet your child and tour his/her drop-in center.

More than half of all people who live in poverty are children, making them one of the most vulnerable groups affected by economic hardship. These children often lack access to basic necessities such as nutritious food, clean water, healthcare, and education, which significantly hampers their physical and mental development.
